Kryštof Hrabík completed a rapid move from Sparta to Kladno on Sunday, then played in the Rytíři’s win over Vítkovice that same day. The forward was placed on the third line with Filip Přikryl and Nicolas Hlava and logged almost 15 minutes of ice time.
Hrabík had been preparing for the day with Sparta when he learned in the morning that the transfer was official. He said he said goodbye in Prague, collected his belongings and reported to Kladno after lunch. The move is permanent, with Martin Procházka going the other way in the trade.
Hrabík spent almost four seasons with Sparta and won bronze twice with the club. His role had diminished over the past two seasons, and this year he averaged eight minutes of ice time. He had previously joined Kladno on a short loan last season, playing 12 games. “Back then, it really woke me up here,” he said, adding that he was glad to have the chance to build on that experience.
