Mountfield HK opened the second quarter of the regular season by shutting out rivals HC Dynamo Pardubice. Dynamo failed to score in a game for the first time in more than a year and did not convert any of its power plays, while Motor České Budějovice remains the league’s longest-running team without a shutout against it in 2026.

Kladno forward Niko Ojamäki scored for a third consecutive game, finding the net for the eighth time this season against Vítkovice in the 14th round. He is level with Pardubice’s Jiří Smejkal as the league’s top scorer. Motor’s Nick Olesen, meanwhile, missed his ninth shootout attempt and is still waiting for his first goal from a shootout or penalty shot.

Elsewhere, Tomáš Vondráček scored for Kometa Brno against Litvínov, his first goal for the club since joining from Pardubice. Liberec’s players did not concede against Plzeň despite allowing two goals on just four shots in the third period. Třinec beat Karlovy Vary in front of a sold-out crowd, while Olomouc’s Jakub Kos scored for a third straight game against Sparta.
