Anton Lander of Timrå IK has been voted the SHL’s Goal of the Week for week 44. His goal received 33% of the votes cast on the league’s social media channels, giving him the title after a public poll.
Carl Persson of Malmö Redhawks finished second with 26%. Max Lindholm of Skellefteå AIK received 21%, while Marcus Krüger of Djurgården Hockey took 20%.
Each week, four goals from the previous week are selected as candidates. The SHL then opens a vote on its social media channels, where fans decide which goal was the best. The winner is announced on Wednesday, after voting has run for several days.
