Stanislav Svozil is leaving HC Kometa Brno for HC Verva Litvínov on a long-term loan, with Litvínov taking over his contract, which runs through 2029. The clubs confirmed the move in statements. Svozil, 23, is set to stay with Litvínov until the end of the 2028/29 season.

Litvínov chairman Jiří Šlégr said the club was pleased to secure a player with Svozil’s potential. He added that the length of the arrangement fits the club’s plans and its work towards the future.

Svozil had been allowed to look for a new club after his return to Kometa did not develop as hoped, according to the report. His development in the Columbus organisation had also stalled. The article says reports had circulated that he was not sufficiently physically prepared.

The report describes the move as a chance for Litvínov coach Robert Reichel to make use of Svozil’s potential, while Kometa will be relieved of a substantial contract. Further details are expected.
