HC Dynamo Pardubice and HC Kometa Brno have reportedly agreed on a trade sending forward Tomáš Vondráček to Brno and defender Jan Ščotka in the other direction. The clubs have not officially confirmed the move, and Hokej.cz reports that some formalities remain to be settled. If completed, it would be the Czech Extraliga’s second trade of the season.
Vondráček, 35, has had limited ice time in Pardubice because of strong competition among the forwards. The article describes him as a hard-working player suited to a third- or fourth-line role. He previously spent time with Kometa between 2013 and 2019, helping the club win two titles, and celebrated another championship with Pardubice last spring.
Ščotka, 30, has also won a title with Kometa and was part of the Czech team that took gold in Prague in 2024. He missed the last two games because of a health problem and, following summer signings, did not have a guaranteed place. The proposed move would bring him back to Pardubice after eight years.
