Jakub Rychlovský, Nick Malík and Filip Král were named the standout performers of the previous Czech Extraliga week. The selection covered two full rounds and excluded Monday’s postponed game between České Budějovice and Kometa Brno.

Rychlovský earned player-of-the-week honours after recording five points, with two goals and three primary assists, across two games for Bílí Tygři Liberec. The team beat Karlovy Vary 5-0 on Friday before narrowly losing to Motor České Budějovice on Sunday. Rychlovský also registered 13 shots and created seven team chances.

Plzeň took five of six possible points, with goaltender Nick Malík conceding once in each of his two appearances. He stopped all shots against Kometa on Sunday and, across both games, saved almost three goals more than expected.

Kometa’s Filip Král was recognised for his performance in the team’s overtime win over Sparta in O2 arena. The defenceman scored once and supplied two primary assists, including one on Robert Leino’s winner. Kometa outscored Sparta 2-0 with Král on the ice at five-on-five.
