BK Mladá Boleslav ended their wait for a home win by beating Litvínov on Sunday, earning their first points at home this season. The Bruslaři had taken just six points before the game and were still looking for their first home point ahead of the 10th round.

David Bernad returned to his former club for the game after agreeing to split his time between Mladá Boleslav and first-league side Kolín. The 32-year-old defenceman said the pressure had been intense, but the team stayed focused and worked hard for the result.

Radek Koblížek opened the scoring late in the first period. Litvínov equalised in the second, but Šimon Kubíček restored the hosts’ lead on the next shift. Goaltender Vojtěch Mokry then held firm under late pressure, making 22 saves.

Mokry said the win brought a sense of relief and that the team needed to build on it. Bernad, who had played three games and attended three practices since returning from injury, said he was grateful for the support he received from the club.
