HC Sparta Praha defeated HC Vítkovice Ridera 3-0, scoring twice in the opening 11 minutes. Jakub Špaček opened the scoring in the sixth minute after Filip Chlapík created a chance in front of goal, and Pavel Kousal made it 2-0 five minutes later. Vojtěch Hradec added the third in the 55th minute, his first goal since joining Sparta. Vítkovice could not convert ten minutes of power-play time, and Sparta goalkeeper Josef Kořenář kept the shutout.
BK Mladá Boleslav beat HC Verva Litvínov 2-1 to end a six-game losing streak. Koblížek put the home side ahead late in the first period after Litvínov lost the puck near its own blue line. Šámal equalised in the second, but Kubíček restored Mladá Boleslav’s lead just 48 seconds later. Litvínov’s late power play did not produce an equaliser.
