The Players Safety Group has reported Brynäs’ Robert Hägg to the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s disciplinary committee following an incident against Växjö. The committee was due to handle the case during the day.
The report says the incident occurred with 16:15 left in the third period. As the puck came to Olivier Nadeau in front of goal, Hägg, who was some distance away, delivered a forceful punch with his left fist to the back of Nadeau’s head. Nadeau was unable to defend himself.
