Michael Schiechl has reached 1,000 league games. He made his debut on 19 September 2008 in Innsbruck, playing for Graz, and has since become one of the league’s most reliable, hard-working and respected players, according to the ICE Hockey League.
Schiechl has played for three clubs: Moser Medical Graz99ers, EC Red Bull Salzburg and Vienna Capitals. He has also won three league championships. The league congratulated him on the milestone, describing him as a leader, a teammate and part of the history of the win2day ICE Hockey League.
