Olomouc ended a run of defeats with a 4-2 home win over Mladá Boleslav, scoring four times in the third period after trailing through two. Rok Macuh started the comeback in the 43rd minute, and Jakub Navrátil added another goal less than a minute later. Olomouc held on for three important points despite conceding late to make the finish tense.

The win was significant for Macuh, who recorded his first points of the season and scored his first top-flight goal since last December. He said Olomouc had scored very few goals in its previous seven games and that the team had lost confidence. Before the match, the players agreed to put more pressure on the goal and simplify their play, he said, praising Zach Senyshyn for screening the goalkeeper on his goal.

A crowd of 3,492 attended. Macuh thanked the fans for continuing to support the team during its poor run. Olomouc will next visit Sparta Praha on Saturday, with around a thousand supporters expected to travel for the club’s Mora Express event.
