HC Olomouc ended a run of seven consecutive defeats with a 4-2 home win over BK Mladá Boleslav in Thursday’s early 13th-round game. The victory was Olomouc’s first points since 27 September, and they took all three after a late turnaround in the third period.

Jordan Martel put Mladá Boleslav ahead in the 10th minute. Olomouc created chances but struggled to finish, and goalkeeper Matěj Machovský left the game injured after the first period. The hosts’ pressure finally paid off when Rok Macuh equalised in the 43rd minute and Jakub Navrátil scored a minute later to make it 2-1.

Navrátil added another goal in the 59th minute, before Jan Kos extended the lead. Mladá Boleslav’s Morand scored in the final minute, but Olomouc held on. The win lifted Olomouc to eight points, three behind 13th-placed Vítkovice. Mladá Boleslav suffered a fifth consecutive away defeat and remained 12th.
