Vítkovice host Bílí Tygři Liberec in an early fixture, looking to end a run of six straight October defeats. They sit second-last with eight points, despite a 6-5 overtime loss at Plzeň in their most recent game. American defenceman Josh Wesley has since left the team. Liberec are 10th and take one point from their previous two away games into their third consecutive road outing. They have gone eight visits to Vítkovice without earning a point, last leaving with a win on 10 February 2022.
Third-placed Karlovy Vary welcome ninth-placed Kometa Brno later in the evening. Karlovy Vary lost 3-1 in their latest game, a regional derby, but have won their last three home games. Kometa have collected points in four consecutive games and beat Liberec 3-2 in overtime in their latest outing. They have won three of their last four away trips.
