HC Verva Litvínov will use Cole Coskey in its derby against HC Energie Karlovy Vary, giving the American forward his first chance in the Czech top flight. Coskey has spent the past three seasons with Chomutov in the second-tier Maxa Liga.

The 27-year-old has played 105 games in the competition, recording 98 points with 47 goals and 51 assists. This season, he has appeared in all 14 games and has seven goals and seven assists. He is expected to wear number 29 and play on Litvínov’s second line alongside captain Matúš Sukeľ and Petr Koblasa.

The match comes as Litvínov seeks a change in form: it won once in five October games and sits 11th in the table. Karlovy Vary is third and has taken maximum points in six of its last seven outings. The game at Zimní stadion Ivana Hlinky is scheduled to start at 17:30.
