Coventry Blaze came back from two goals down to beat Sheffield Steelers in a shootout at the Skydome. Sheffield made a fast start, with Mikko Juusola scoring at 5:25 and Evan Jasper adding a second at 11:38. The Blaze responded through Jaxon Ezman at 14:20, after Ryan Richardson won the puck and set him up, and Andrew Nielsen tied the game at 16:24.

Coventry moved ahead shorthanded in the second period when Tanner Kaspick fed Griffen Ness at the crease. Sheffield levelled again less than three minutes later, as Brandon Whistle deflected Robbie Stucker’s shot past Sisu Heikkeri.
