Week 8 of the 2026/27 Elite League season features league and Challenge Cup action from Wednesday to Sunday. Manchester Storm have a particularly important week, playing their final three Group A fixtures and starting with seven points, with a maximum of 13 still possible. Their results against Sheffield Steelers, Coventry Blaze and Cardiff Devils will affect both their own qualification hopes and the final positions of teams above them in the group.
Wednesday’s schedule includes Cardiff Devils against Belfast Giants and Guildford Flames against Dundee Stars in league play, alongside Sheffield Steelers hosting Manchester Storm in the Challenge Cup. On Friday, Manchester host Coventry in the Cup, Nottingham Panthers meet Belfast in the league, and Glasgow Clan face Dundee in a group game with progression hopes at stake.
Saturday’s league fixtures are Sheffield against Nottingham, Cardiff against Guildford and Dundee against Fife Flyers. The week concludes with Manchester facing Cardiff in the Cup, plus league games between Fife and Belfast, Coventry and Sheffield, and Guildford and Glasgow.
