Krefeld Pinguine moved up to ninth place with a 6-0 home win over Schwenningen Wild Wings in an early game from the 41st round. Juha Jatkola kept a clean sheet, recording one of his first shutouts in the PENNY DEL. The result gave Krefeld three points ahead of a busy weekend schedule.
Maxwell Gildon opened the scoring in the 20th minute, giving Krefeld a 1-0 lead at the first intermission. The Pinguine pulled away in the second period, with Santos scoring in the 32nd minute, Müller in the 34th and Newton in the 39th.
