Thursday’s full SHL schedule includes the season’s first Skåne derby, with Rögle hosting Malmö. The teams sit fourth and fifth, separated by two points, and both come into the game in form: Rögle have won three straight, while Malmö beat Linköping 8-2 on Tuesday. Rögle won three of four meetings last season.
Färjestad are seeking an 11th consecutive victory when they face Brynäs. They have taken points in 12 straight games, while Brynäs have lost three in a row. Djurgården and HV71 meet in a key game near the bottom of the table: Djurgården are four points above last-placed HV71, who are still looking for their first road win of the autumn.
Other matchups include Skellefteå against Linköping, Frölunda versus Örebro, Luleå against Björklöven, and Timrå facing Växjö. Skellefteå arrive after an 8-1 win over Björklöven, while Frölunda’s league-best power play faces Örebro’s weakest penalty kill. All SHL games are available on TV4 Play.
