Saturday brings a full round of SHL games, led by a rematch of last season’s Swedish Championship final between Skellefteå AIK and Rögle BK. Skellefteå lost 5-1 to Färjestad BK on Thursday, while Rögle have yet to win away from home this season. Färjestad, now top of the table after taking 19 of 21 possible points, face Malmö Redhawks, who have won their last three meetings with them.
Djurgården Hockey and Linköping HC meet after both ended losing runs on Thursday: Djurgården claimed their first three-point win of the season, while Linköping snapped a four-game skid. HV71 are the only team yet to record a three-point win and face Brynäs IF; Jan Mysak leads the league with seven goals.
Frölunda HC will try to respond to their first loss of the season when they visit IF Björklöven. Elsewhere, Timrå IK host Luleå Hockey, Örebro Hockey meet Växjö Lakers, and Malmö’s form is tested against the league leaders. All Saturday’s SHL games are available on TV4 Play.
