Eddie Genborg wins SHL Goal of the Week for week 41

Eddie Genborg of Timrå has been voted the SHL’s Goal of the Week for week 41. The result followed a poll on the league’s social media channels, where fans chose their favourite from four nominated goals.

Genborg received 73% of the votes. Jacob Josefson and Sebastian Hartmann, both of Djurgården, finished with 12% and 7%, respectively, while Luleå’s Mathias Bromé received 8%.

The SHL selects four candidates from the previous week’s goals each Monday and opens a vote on its social media channels. The winner is announced on Wednesday after the poll has run for a few days.
