Daniel Marmenlind of Djurgården has been voted the SHL’s Save of the Week winner for week 40, becoming the season’s second winner. The result was decided by a poll on the league’s social media channels.
Marmenlind received 35% of the votes. Melker Thelin of Färjestad finished second with 29%, followed by Timrå’s Jacob Johansson on 20% and Linköping’s Marcus Högberg on 16%.
The league selects four saves from the previous week every Monday and opens a social media vote. The winner is announced on Wednesday. The winning save is available in the video player accompanying the original article.
