TPS beat JYP as Lukas Haudum scored a hat-trick in 9 minutes 53 seconds, the fastest three-goal haul in TPS league history. JYP had earlier suffered its first defeat of the season, losing 2–1 to HPK, which also beat Kärpät by the same score on Saturday.

Tappara defeated Jokerit in overtime in the teams’ first meeting since March 2014. Other extra-time winners were Jukurit, whose Jacob Hayhurst decided the Savon derby against KalPa, and HIFK, which beat Sport. Lukko shut out Ässät in Pori before Ässät won the rematch in Rauma. Pelicans won 6–3 away to KooKoo, while SaiPa edged Jokerit.
