HC TIWAG Innsbruck won its first-ever league game in Milan, beating Milano Hockey Club 4-1. Diego Kostner put the hosts ahead, but Brett Davis levelled before Steven Owre scored the go-ahead goal in the second period. Justin Richards and Marcel Witting added short-handed goals in the third. Innsbruck also avenged its defeat to Milano earlier in the season.

Steinbach Black Wings Linz extended its winning streak to four games with a 5-2 victory over HC Falkensteiner Pustertal. Stefan Gaffal and Graham Knott each scored twice as Linz moved into second place.

EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV beat league leaders HCB Südtirol Alperia 4-3 in overtime, with Elias Jeronimo Wallenta scoring the winner after Ryan Sproul’s two goals helped Villach recover from a 2-0 deficit. EC Red Bull Salzburg also came from behind, defeating Hydro Fehérvár AV19 6-1 as Peter Schneider scored a hat-trick.

Elsewhere, FTC-Telekom beat Vienna Capitals 3-2, Olimpija Ljubljana edged Moser Medical Graz99ers 4-3 in overtime, and EC-KAC defeated Pioneers Vorarlberg 5-4 in a shootout.
