Sparta Praha and Kladno have exchanged forwards during the 14th round of the Tipsport Extraliga. Kryštof Hrabík moves to Kladno, his parent club, while Martin Procházka heads in the opposite direction to Sparta. Hrabík signed a contract extension with Sparta but, according to the club’s sports manager Jaroslav Hlinka, had not felt used as he wanted since the start of the season.
The 27-year-old Hrabík spent a month on loan at Kladno last season, scoring twice and adding two assists in 12 games. Kladno sporting director Tomáš Plekanec said the club knows Hrabík and believes he can become an important part of the team. He could make his return on Sunday against Vítkovice.
Procházka, five years older, leaves Kladno after more than four seasons. He came through Sparta’s youth system and said the move brought him back to the place where he was developed. Hlinka described him as a hard-working player with a good shot who understands his role. The clubs are due to meet on Tuesday in the 15th round.
