Fife Flyers beat Guildford Flames 10-2 at Fife Ice Arena, scoring ten goals at home for only the second time in the Elite League. Their previous ten-goal home display came against Edinburgh Capitals on Boxing Day 2017.

Michael Drábek opened the scoring after 38 seconds, and Xander Lamppa struck twice in the first period as Fife took a 3-1 lead. The hosts pulled further clear in the second, with Victor Björkung and Joseph Pierce among the scorers. Pierce added two powerplay goals, and Lamppa completed his hat trick during a spell in which Fife scored four times to move 8-1 ahead.

Nate Kallen scored for Guildford early in the third, but Lucas Chard netted his first professional goal and Chase Dubois completed the scoring for Fife. Flyers goaltender Jordan McLaughlin said the result came from a team performance, noting that the side continued to block shots and play well defensively in the third. Lamppa praised the powerplay and said the team knew results like this would not happen often.
