Fife Flyers earned a 3-2 win over Dundee Stars at Dundee Ice Arena on Saturday, strengthening their position in Challenge Cup Group B. The victory took Fife to 13 points, placing them second in the group.

Fife opened the scoring at 4:13 when Michael Drábek tipped in Xander Lamppa’s shot. Mike Petizian doubled the visitors’ lead at 12:16, finishing a breakaway after Mika Partanen’s stretch pass.

Dundee replied in the second period. Joshua Nelson cut the deficit at 22:39 after a giveaway, then Travis Ewanyk levelled on the powerplay at 29:23, converting a rebound. Fife restored their advantage at 32:54, also on the powerplay: Zachary Power scored from an angle after Carl Stankowski stopped Drábek’s initial shot.
