Manchester Storm came from two goals behind to defeat Dundee Stars 4-3 in overtime at Dundee Ice Arena. Tim McGauley scored the winner with 11 seconds remaining in the extra period, sweeping in the rebound after Anton Karlsson’s shot struck the crossbar and post.
Dundee led 1-0 after captain Travis Ewanyk scored on a power play 67 seconds into the game. Kyle Maksimovich tied it for Manchester at 27:33, but Sebastian Bengtsson restored the Stars’ lead early in the third before Ewanyk added his second on a rebound to make it 3-1.
The hosts had two breakaways to extend their advantage but could not convert. Drydn Dow cut the deficit with 3:55 left, and Brandon Cutler levelled the score with 2:10 remaining to force overtime. In the extra period, Rasmus Nousiainen also tested Dundee goalkeeper Drew DeRidder, who made a glove save before McGauley’s decisive goal.
