The Motorpoint Elite League will bring all ten clubs together for a league-wide Ice Hockey Fights Cancer campaign from 13 to 22 November 2026. Each club will choose a home game during the period and have its team wear a specially designed jersey.

The clubs will also work with local charity partners to highlight organisations supporting people affected by cancer. Further details of the charities, jerseys and designated games will be announced in the coming weeks.

Head of Hockey Operations Liam Sewell said the initiative was close to many people, including himself, and that people across teams and fanbases knew someone affected by cancer. He said the league’s clubs had strong links with their local communities and hoped working with charities would raise awareness of their work and make a positive difference.

The league said the campaign would give its clubs an opportunity to unite around one cause, alongside the charitable work individual teams already carry out in their communities.
