Sheffield Steelers came from a two-goal lead, then scored with 1:49 left to beat Manchester Storm 4-3 at the AO Arena. Ryan Tait finished the winning move after Miiko Juusola found Adam Rockwood, who set him up as Manchester tried to clear its zone.

Tim Gettinger opened the scoring at 4:33, and Tait doubled the visitors’ lead at 14:22 after receiving a pass from Mitchell Balmas. Kyle Maksimovich pulled one back for Manchester on the powerplay, but Gettinger scored again at 25:39 to make it 3-1.

Dennis Busby cut the deficit at 35:26, and Brady Gilmour tied the game on a powerplay at 39:39. Neither side found a third-period goal until Tait settled the contest late.

Gettinger said Sheffield had played well in the first period but had moved away from its approach in the second. He added that the team was pleased to secure the win after going into the third period tied on the road.
