Adler Mannheim moved into second place with a 2-1 home win over Straubing Tigers, while Kölner Haie beat Nürnberg Ice Tigers 4-2 to help the climb.

Iserlohn Roosters recovered from a 2-0 deficit against Grizzlys Wolfsburg, two days after losing 11-4 to Straubing, and won 3-2 in overtime. Augsburger Panther followed Friday’s 3-0 victory over Bremerhaven with a 2-1 away win at Krefeld Pinguine, completing a six-point weekend and moving into sixth place. EHC Red Bull München won 4-3 away against Schwenninger Wild Wings, and Löwen Frankfurt beat ERC Ingolstadt 3-2 in a shootout.

Eisbären, Mannheim and Ingolstadt are due to play their final Champions Hockey League group games on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, Krefeld visit Wolfsburg in a game to be shown live by MagentaSport.
