Rögle beat HC Davos 3-2 at home on Champions Hockey League Game Day 5, earning their third home win in a row. Goaltender Calle Clang helped the hosts protect a 3-0 lead before Davos scored twice late in the game.
Davos outshot Rögle 11-6 in the first period, but Albin Sundsvik opened the scoring at 9:45 after intercepting a dangerous pass. Five minutes later, Tinus Luc Koblar finished a one-timer following Fredrik Olofsson’s work behind the net. Linus Sandin made it 3-0 just before the midpoint of the second period, scoring a rebound after Luca Hollenstein stopped Joel Kellman’s initial attempt.
A Rögle goal was disallowed after review because Luboš Horký had kicked the puck in. Enzo Corvi then made it 3-1 with under five minutes remaining, and Brendan Lemieux scored on a power-play rebound with 45 seconds left. Davos stayed on the power play through the end but could not find an equaliser.
