Eisbären Berlin held on for a 4-3 win over EC Red Bull Salzburg, earning their third straight victory after the hosts cut a four-goal deficit to one in the third period. Liam Kirk set up Gabriel Fontaine for the opening goal on a penalty kill, then Korbinian Geibel and Kirk scored to make it 3-0 by 12:34. Jean-Luc Foudy added Berlin’s fourth after a faceoff win.

Salzburg began its comeback midway through the second period. Jayden Lee scored on a rebound after Jack LaFontaine made the initial save, reducing the deficit to 4-1. Dennis Eamon Robertson then beat the Berlin netminder short side in the third, before Mario Huber made it 4-3 with a little over seven minutes remaining.

Salzburg pressed for an equaliser as time ran down, but a late power play for Berlin ended the hosts’ hopes of drawing level. The win gave Berlin more points, while Salzburg fell short despite its late rally.
