Bílí Tygři Liberec defeated HC Davos 2-0 in southern Switzerland on the final day of the Champions Hockey League regular season, and both teams advanced to the playoffs. Liberec defenceman Tomáš Galvas scored a goal and added an assist, while Petr Hamalčík stopped all 25 shots he faced for the shutout.

Jaroslav Vlach opened the scoring at 2:15, sending a long shot from just inside the blue line over Sandro Aeschlimann’s glove. Liberec doubled its lead in the first minute of the second period when Galvas carried the puck from his own zone to the high slot and beat Aeschlimann high on the blocker side.

Davos pressed in the second period but could not get past Hamalčík. Its best chance came in the 35th minute, when Jaromír Pérez cleared the puck from the goal line during a scramble with the Czech goalie down. Davos pulled Aeschlimann for an extra attacker late in the third, but Liberec hit the post. Both clubs move on to the playoffs.
