HK Nitra scored three times on an extended power play in the third period to beat Rögle Ängelholm 5-1, earning their third win of the 2026/27 Champions Hockey League campaign. The result kept alive Nitra’s bid to reach the playoffs.

Rögle had created more chances in the first period and continued to dictate the pace early in the second, but the teams remained level until Robby Jackson put Nitra ahead nine and a half minutes into the period. He received a pass from Matej Paulovič before skating down the near side and lifting the puck past goaltender Calle Clang.

Nitra took control in the third. Brett David Pollock scored first, sliding the puck into an open net, before Tomáš Hrnka struck twice to make it 4-0. Nils Bartholdsson got Rögle on the board with a net-front goal, but Tomáš Chrenko sealed the 5-1 win with an empty-net goal at 56:19.
